Pro bug: Header editor shows wrong bar borders when height > 50vh after scrolling

In Pro’s header editor, when I edit a bar and when the bars height is > 50vh, then the blue bar borders are shown incorrectly after scrolling the bar out of sight by scrolling downwards . They are then shown way too large.

Please see the “Test Bar highlight big” header in my website which you have the credentials for.

How to reproduce:

  • Create new empty header.
  • Open the header in edit mode.
  • Create a bar.
  • Set a 1px red border around the bar (showing actual bar size)
  • Set height to something smaller than 50vh: red borders (indicating actual bar size) and blue border are congruent.
  • Set height to something larger than 50vh: blue bar bprders are correct. Now scroll down until header bar gets out of view, then scroll back up: red borders (indicating actual bar size) and blue border are not congruent, the blue border extends much lower than is the actual bar size. This effect stays even when the bar height is reduced to under 50vh. If bar height is reduced to something like 20vh, then blue bar borders return to normal.

I dont know whether the same bug also shows in the footer and content builder, haven’t tested that.

This bug caused me quite some confusion because I relied on the blue bar border for my design checks, until I realized that the blue borders are not correct, may be fixing this bug would be helpful.

Hi Mikael,

Thanks for reaching out.

I checked and I can confirm this issue on all of my installations. Thanks for reporting and I’ll this to our issue tracker. Though, there is no temporary fix as of this moment since this is part of the core.

Thanks!
