Pro Beta 6.0 v3 - Using A Component In Accordion

Hi,

In Pro v 5.1.5 I am able to add a Global Block into an Accordion element’s content area by using its shortcode. For example, an Off Canvas Global Block - [cs_gb name="contact-off-canvas"]

Using Pro 6v3 Beta I cannot find any shortcodes for Components. I know how to add a Component as an Element, but how can I add a Component within the Accordion’s text editor, please?

Thanks,
Christopher

Good point, being able to add a component as a short code should be required if only for backward compatibility

As far as I can tell, global blocks added via a shortcode don’t show at all, not only in the context of an accordion. See here: Old Global Block issue still a problem in V6-b2

@striata Former Global Blocks definitely do display and work in Beta 6.0 v3 (see screenshot), even though they have been converted to Components. However, my original question remains, how can newly created Components be used in text editors for Accordions and other such Elements?

This is good to know, then there is something else wrong in my setup. My global block contains dynamic content, maybe that is part of the problem.

Hey everybody! The [cs_gb] shortcode is still supported as @whitemedia demonstrated, just the implementation of it will need to be done manually by writing it in where needed. Remember, this shortcode is really only there for backwards compatibility, and moving forward the cleaner way to do things is to use the actual Component system to build and export Elements and drag them in to us as needed. Obviously this won’t work everywhere like Accordion Content, and in that case the old shortcode could be input manually if desired.
