@scotbaston it definitely looks like a WP CE issue, as @charlie has painstakingly discovered. What have you used in place of WP CE as a calculator?

So far the sites where I have replace WP CE have been simple form & payment, so replaced it with contact form 7.

I have yet to find a complete replacement, but it is on my list as I no longer find WP CE reliable

It’s unfortunate it’s giving us issues. Looking through the code it feels like a legacy project at this point. We can revisit after release. We have talked internally about cleaning up our approved plugins and this one might be removed if I can’t send them or find a fix in a timely manner.

Thanks @charlie. If this is likely to become a removed plugin, can you suggest another one which could do what WP CE does?

I need a calculator which outputs a price based upon the quantity input. There are various price breakpoints based upon the quantity input and the calculation will be based upon these breakpoints. The results will not be shown and emailed until email capture has happened. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

That’s a good question, I’ll have to dig more into options. If anybody has suggestions too I’ll gladly take a look. Birds eye view WP CE does have a nicer UI then others.
