Pro - Anchor Link from Button Element to Section on the Same Page

I’m trying to make my button link to a section lower on my page. I’m using Pro. In Cornerstone, you added something like #x-section-3 to the end of the page URL. But it’s not working.

It’s NOT a one page website, but I should be able to make a button link to another section within the same page. I could in Cornerstone, but I’m using this (http://new.clearedge3d.com/#x-section-3 ) for the buttons at the top of my page to link to section 3, but it’s not working.

Is there some other method I need to use in Pro? I’ve been scouring your KB and support forum for an hour and I can’t find anything about this problem.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that now that I’m using Pro, when working in the editor on the back end, my sections, when you hover over them, seem to overlap each other? (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7xrnel2cw3pl83/Section-Overlap-2018-07-08_12-07-00.jpg?dl=0)

Hello There,

Thank you for the very detailed post information. #x-section-3 is not working because in the latest release, the v2 section elements, it no longer use the x-section-{x} ID format. To make it work, you will need to edit the page back in the editor, find the “Customize” tab and insert a section your-section ID. Once it is in place, you can use http://example.com/#your-section as your button link.

The section overlapping could be because of your section height or the negative margin. I am not sure that as I could not check your custom settings.
