Pro 4 - Portfolio page

Hi,

I love the new possibilities op Pro 4, but I am learning still. Not so good in writing code, so it takes a while for me. But your videos and docs are a great help already.

To learn how everything works, I created a new Portfolio page with all the portfolio items. On the Post - level I set the looper provider and the posts show the featured items and the titel of the portfolio - posts. I have a few questions, and was hoping you can give me direction how to create that.
(don’t mind the look of the page is nog great, it is just set up to learn how to create things).

I would like to have a button at the bottem of every post which show the category of that portfolio item. (I managed this first part - to have a looper provider on the button). But when clicking on that button, I would like be shown the archive page of that portfolio category. The last - I don’t know how to do that.

I would like to be able to filter the Portfolio categories on top of the page. If I create a widget with the category filter, it show the Post-categories, not the Portfolio categories. Is there a way to change that?

I hope my questions are clear enough. I will provide you the inlog of my page.

Thanks for writing in!

1.) To display the categories, you need to insert a DIV element and enable a Looper Provider set to “Current Post Terms”.

Then you need to add a button element as a Consumer to iterate over the selected taxonomy.

2.) Regretfully there is no feature that you can add Portfolio categories and be able to make it as a portfolio item filter. We already have a feature request for this and it is already in line with the development.
