Pro 4 header issues after upgrading from 3

There are four issues:

  1. The headers are not showing at all in the Pro editor. I can see the outline, but nothing on the visual side (right side).

  2. The dropdowns in the in-line menu are not showing when hovering over the parent menu item.

  3. The mobile, off-canvas, menu is not working/showing for mobile screen sizes.

  4. The front page header is missing many elements.

Please help, this is urgent.

Hey @TonyBear,

I deactivated all 3rd party plugins on your site and that resolved the issue. This means that there’s a plugin conflict going on in your site.

Regarding the missing elements, please post a screenshot of the elements you’re referring to with all the plugins disabled.

My apologies for not disabling plugins or going through the list of common issues before getting in touch. I will do that next time.

The issue, for any folks hosting with SiteGround, was the SG Optimizer plugin. It wasn’t the entire plugin, but something in the following tabs:

  • Frontend Optimization (my guess, is that it’s something here)
  • Media Optimization

Thank you for the follow-up. I was having the exact problem with my dropdown menus, and I host with Siteground. I turned off minification in the SG Optimizer’s Front End Optimization tab and the problem went away. I believe I read somewhere that Pro is already minified? So perhaps I should not have had those turned on to begin with.
