Pro 4.1.5 and YITH Woocommerce My Account Customizer

Recently installed YITH Woocommerce My Account Customizer, and it seems to have a conflict with Pro 4.1.5. I have no idea if there are conflicts with other Pro versions. When switching to Twenty Twenty theme, the issue disappears. What is confusing is the conflict does NOT exist when editing the page in Pro but exists when viewing the front end. Since it works when editing, I thought it best to contact Themeco before YITH.

Problem:
Custom Woocommerce My Account page that is created by the YITH plugin does not appear on the front end. It appears in the Pro Editor. Although it does not appear on the front end, it makes the stock My Account links disappear. It should be noted that when editing, Pro appears to allow the custom endpoints but is overriding the plugin’s default color scheme of teal (Pro link color is set to orange).

Steps Taken:
Removed all global custom css - did not work
Disabled several plugins - did not work
Switched to Twenty Twenty - worked

Editing in Pro:
Functioning as intended, content colors are defaulting to theme settings.

Viewing Front End:
Endpoint links have disappeared.

Viewing Front End, Twenty Twenty theme active:
Plugin now successfully adds the customization. It seems that the plugin’s link colors is defaulting to whatever theme colors are assigned.

Hello @kevinkputnam,

Thanks for writing to us.

We really don’t have tested this plugin with the theme and not even received any compatibility issue with it till now. I would suggest you contact the plugin author on this.
Although we can’t guarantee a fix we’ll be interested to know why our theme is causing such issues you described if proven. To make sure that is our theme related issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot a few common issues:

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply.

Using a stage site, I’ve narrowed it down to Yoast SEO causing all my issues. I’ve disabled it and will explore other options. Do you have any suggestions on similar seo alternatives that are documented to function well with Pro?

For any other users using the forum search function, Pro 4.1.5 + Yoast SEO 15.7 = YITH Woocommerce Custom My Account Page breaking and not rendering properly/at all.

Hey Kevin,

Regretfully, we haven’t tested other SEO plugins but you can try SEOPress or Rank Math and you can report to us if there would be problems with Pro. We can’t promise or guarantee compatibility but our development team might be interested to check this out.

Thanks.

I understand you cannot promise compatibility.

I was only curious if Themeco had any documentation about seo and/or seo plug-ins, specifically as it relates to Pro.

Hi Kevin,

Regretfully, we don’t have any seo plugins that is related specifically to the Pro. As we all know each website have different approach and different build, so it worth a try to test the plugin mentioned by my colleague.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
