Should we post this on the main forum from now on?
After the Content editor fully loads, If I want to drop an element into the Content area, I open the Elements popup and immediately start writing into the search.
However, I need to wait a second for the cursor to start blinking. If I write too soon, the page gets stuck and it must be reloaded, with all the work lost if there is anything not saved.

Edit: last observed inside the Layout Editor.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I’ve not been able to trigger that. If you encounter something like this, before refreshing, can you open the developer tools and let me know if you see any errors? Sometimes there’s a clear error being triggered that we can trace from the point of failure. Thank you!
@alexander, I am reproducing it consistently, all the time., both in production and staging. I am wondering if it is a browser thing.
Let me try in Firefox… …same thing. This time there is a warning “A Web page is slowing down your browser”. No Console errors.
I will give you the credentials to check it out, if you wish.
However, there is one more issue. Perhaps I should keep it in this thread, so you can check both.
This website has several WooCommerce products. I have created a WC Single template and assigned it to all products.
I have also created Various ACF fields for the products, so additional information can be pushed to Product pages.
I had one of the products as a preview, and every dynamic element or field I placed into the Layout worked as expected.
After saving everything, I have previewed the product I have used as a preview, and it looked nice.
After that I have started viewing other products and some of them (two) are showing most of the fields empty. (Maybe it means something that those are the first and the last product added the shop).
The only piece of data displayed is the Product short description, while Long description, Price, and all ACF data is missing.

It just happened to me! Been working in the tool all day and this is the first I’ve seen it. Maybe I wasn’t fast enough until now to trigger it. I’ll let you know what I find out.

Thanks! I’ll take a look soon and let you know what I can. As for the elements search, I’ve not quite figured out the root cause but I’ve added a stopgap that will let you type but not initiate a search for a few hundred ms which seems to prevent it from locking up.
