The headline is describing the issue. Never got dynamic content from a specific ID to work. Tested image, headline and text etc. Never want to work, only work to fetch form specific ID.
Any known bug?

Fetch dynamic content from a specific ID. Which is a function in dynamic content of PRO. And it does not work. Tried on different websites with PRO so it’s not our website it must be a bug with your product.
E.g fetch page-title from ID 1234.

Please make sure your dynamic content shortcode looks like this:
{{dc:post:title post="1234"}} NOT {{dc:post:title page="1234"}}
If it still doesn’t work, please try testing a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I’m using your builder to create the dynamic code so I assume it is right using that one. And based on yoru example above and my knowledge it looks like it should but it does not work.
Does your minor update which was released today include any fix for this?

I was testing on the Pro v2.5.4. Would you mind providing us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
- Link login to your site
- WordPress Admin username / password

I also have issues with author dynamic content. it picks the author who created it initially not who I changed to be the author.

You must have used the dynamic content incorrectly. Please be aware that you may not be able to mixed up the display of the dynamic contents.
- It does not allow you to insert pages, page title, page content, etc.
- It will only allow you to fetch Posts, Archives, User, Global and WooCommerce
- If you want to display specific user info, use the specific ID. The author will display the assigned author and not the actual user who published/created the page. The author will only display the actual author of the page you are editing and not the posts.
Hope this explains it briefly.
I used what the tool allow me to. Fetch page name from a specific ID. Fetch author from the existing page etc which does not work.
I would like to display the assigned author but instead it displays the user who created the page.

Dynamic Content works in my test site so there could be something in your site that is conflicting with the Dynamic Content feature. Please copy your site to a staging server and test the parent theme without third party plugins in your site.
Please also give us the staging’s WordPress Admin and FTP access so we could also do some test.
May we also know how you exactly add or how you’re using Dynamic Content? Please provide screenshots or screencast.

In yoru video you fetch dynamic from the same page. fetch from specific ID is for me to use to fetch e.g title from page A when the dynamic field is on page B.
The author works that was me missing the functions between current user and author! My bad! 
Fetching Title, permalink etc etc does not work for a specific post. It fetch the existing page title instead.

Their not the same page. In the video, I grabbed the title from a page titled “2 Col 100 vh” from the page titled “Dynamic Content”.
Please watch this other video (https://youtu.be/TCbnCaBCC4g) where I grabbed a Post Title and a Permalink from a Page.
There could be something in your setup that is disrupting the function of the Dynamic Content.

Ok this does not work on my side.
it could be but tried from a flat installation and see the same. But I won’t setup that server once again just to show once again. I would not report it as a bug on your side if I couldn’t see that. Then I would report it as bug/conflict.
Today I can not pull from live to staging and et you in we work on tests on staging and previously you have destroyed sites when letting you guys in. So can’t do that, I would like to know how this works with dynamic for you but not us. Do you use php 7.3?

X/Pro themes are backward compatible up-to PHP v5.5.x. So if you’re using PHP v7.3.x, I would suggest you to test your site again by switching to PHP v7.1.x or v7.2.x and see if you can experience any difference.
Also test your issue without other plugins if possible and also if you have a child theme, disable it temporarily while testing.
