Print.css vs. Firefox

Hi there,

on my pages guh-vermoegen.de and 3ik-strategiefonds.de I run a print.css so that only the page/article text is being printed. As the company sends a weekly newsletter with investment updates (https://guh-vermoegen.de/3ik-wochenbericht-vom-25-05-2018/) they want that their customers can easyly print the article to read it later on train or airplane.

With all browsers (Opera, Chrome, Microsoft Edge) I can print the several pages. But Firefox only shows the first page and a second white page - not more.

I know that this is a Firefox-Bug but some bug-fixes seem to help

Do you have an idea which container or css-code might cause the printing problem - I have no idea where to search for.

Hope you find a solution for that…

Amberette

I forgot to say that I use the latest Versions:

X-Theme Version: 6.0.4

Firefox Version: 60.0.1 (64-Bit)

and it is only a @media print {…} part in the “custom style sheet” - not a seperate print.css file

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!
We are really sorry, but this is something out of our theme support scope and need custom development work.
Please take help from a developer to do this.

Thanks for understanding!

Thank you for your fast answer.

Thought that this might be a known problem that would be interesting for other X-Theme users to know, too.
Maybe it is a ticket for coming X-Theme-Updates…

All the modifications i did i checked with the firefox-bug-fix solutions that are suggested in the link - they did not work so I thought it might be a container or CSS that belongs to the X-Theme in general. Which would be a problem for all X-Theme Users that try to print their webpages in Firefox…

Then I have to go to search the needle in the haystack

Thanks for your feedback.
We surely keep this in our mind.
