I see the cost of a single site license is $79. What, if any on-going costs are there to maintain support, version updates, etc.?

You are looking for a single site lifetime in Pro for $79. With this product, you can update the plugins lifetime and also you can ask/create a support ticket hundred of times and we will answer the question that is part of our theme.

Great answer, thank you. So, to clarify (for example)
Slider Revolution comes with X-Pro. I will not need to pay them for continued support after the first 12 months?

Ah, Slider Revolution does not come with X-Pro(?). I believe it used to, no? Perhaps I am mistaken…

Yes, the Revolution Slider is one of our bundled plugins and you can install it once you have a valid license code. If you purchase a lifetime Pro then you will also have lifetime access to Revolution Slider.
