Preview won't load when editing in Cornerstone

Hi,

I am trying to edit my blog posts and I keep getting a message saying that there is a conflict with a plugin or aggressive cache.

I have tried on both IE and Chrome on my computer and it doesn’t work. It loads perfectly on my husband’s computer and your support has told me that it loads fine on your end also.

I have cleared my browser cache, I have individually deactivated my plugins and checked to see if the problem stops but nothing changes.

I seem to be up to date with X, CS, WP and all plugins.

Your support told me to try using the incognito / private setting but i have no idea what this means.

I love X theme but honestly, this happens too often and some how it either rights itself or last time it was a problem with a responsive text command. It’s really doing my head in as I lose days of productivity. Can you guys look into why this happens so we don’t have this issue any more?

Thanks,

Hello There,

You maybe using an older version of the browser. Please ensure that you are using the up to date IE or Chrome browser.

And to make sure that you have clear the cache, private browsing mode or incognito mode is a way to test the site.
Please check this links for more details:

Hope this helps.

Hi RueNel,

I have checked the Chrome and IE and they seem to be up to date.
I have cleared the cache and have tested the site using the incognito link and it still would not work.
Any other ideas on what could be causing the issue?
Thanks,

Hello There,

I have edited one of you pages and I could not replicate any issue.

There could be a problem with your machine or browser.

Thanks,

I have just tried to edit the same pages as you and I still get no preview. I don’t see how it can be the browser if both IE and Chrome are doing it on my laptop. So it must be my computer. Do you have any ideas where i should be focusing on?

Until i get this sorted my website and my business is dead. So frustrated.

Hi there,

We understand the frustration and try to be as helpful as you can so that you can continue your work. But unfortunately, we do not have the necessary tools to test the case which is your laptop.

I in my turn as another support member tried the builder with the Chrome browser version 66.0.3359.117 and it worked with no problem. This time I created a completely new page and added an Alert element and changed the text to white so it will show on the black background.

I had no problem using the builder.

Unfortunately, this makes impossible for us to be of a help as we can not recreate the issue that you are experiencing on our machines.

Thank you for your understanding.
