How do I change the automatic preview image and text of my wordpress-page, when I enter my wordpress-page url on other pages, such as Facebook?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You will need to enable Open Graph in X > Launch > Social and also insert a Social Fallback Image. If you are using Yoast SEO plugin, you do not need to enable the Open Graph in the options. Just let Yoast SEO plugin handle it.

Hi this didn’t work unfortunately.
Could you, or anyone, give me another specific suggestion (or multiple suggestions to try out) on how to solve this problem?

Change the settings like @RueNel says and then use the Facebook Debugger to see whats behind.

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ Paste your Url in the Field and press Debug. In the Next Screen you see what Facbook can read from your Site. Press the Scrap again Button yet. To Force Facebook to scrap your changes.

@nilsps, if you use X OpenGraph which you can enable in Appearance > Theme Options > Social > Open Graph, it will use and display your page title, content and your featured image. If you want to display different title, content and featured image, you’ll need an advanced WordPress Open Graph plugin which offers more options like Yoast SEO or Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags. If you’re going to use one of those plugins, please disable X OpenGraph so it won’t conflict with those plugins. For usage instructions of the said third party plugins, please refer to their documentation or visit their support page.
