Preview of google map isn't showing in builder?

Hi support,

I’ve added a map to the following page, it’s a specific layout for the contact page. Layout > GAB Contact Us Layout

The maps showing on the page: https://speytech.com/contact-us/ however I can’t preview it in the Pro builder to set it up properly?

I noticed the same with forms I can’t preview them either only see them on the live site. Can someone take a look please and I’ll add a secure note for access.

Hi @william1872,

Thanks for reaching out!

The reason why the Google Map isn’t loading inside the builder because there’s an error “RefererNotAllowedMapError” when the user’s login. I guess it has something to do with the restrictions.

On the other hand, I tried to use Contact Form 7 plugin as a contact form and they are just showing fine on my builder. Some of the Contact Forms plugins JS conflicting with the builder functionality that’s why the preview is disabled.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

That makes sense @marc_a I’ll get the client to add the pro builder url to the API authorisation for this page

What’s the correct way to size the map height wise? I tried modifying the container height whilst keeping full width but doesn’t look right in mobile?

Hi @william1872,

I check your website on my actual device and they are just looking fine. Maybe there’s a cache issue on your mobile browser, I suggest that you clear your mobile cache.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Yeah I put the settings back and it displays ok it’s the desktop height I wanted to make slightly smaller, but that then gives the image I showed before?

Hi @william1872,

I wonder if this site will have multiple contact pages that’s why you set this page up with a Layout? Anyways the Map Content Sizing Aspect Ratio will not allow you to have a fixed height, it will adjust base on its width. If you need to control the map’s height, you need to use the Fixed Height option.

Thanks,
