Preview Not Loading in Cornerstone

Hello, I noticed my cornerstone preview wasn’t working. I found additional forum topics and have tried all listed below. Please help.

6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

Hello,

I was able to get cornerstone up and running again by renaming/resetting the htaccess file, but then once I did that the slider revolution and the grid plugins stopped working all together. I had to restore a back-up file because I had to leave work and couldn’t leave the website with broken elements.

Any idea as to why this happened? Thank you!

Please be advised that we have released X 6.3.8 and Cornerstone 3.3.8. It is now available in automatic updates. You can now update to this latest version. This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache, Cache Enabler or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hi @RueNel I have updated everything and I cannot get cornerstone to load. I have tried uninstalling all third party plugins and it still would not load. The only way I could get cornerstone to load is by renaming/resetting the .htaccess file but then my slider revolution and the grid plug-ins were not working.

Could you also please check the following to isolate your issue further.

• Make sure that you’re running at least PHP v5.6.x or later to avoid any WordPress related incompatibility issues. If you’re not sure what your server configurations and settings are, install a plugin like WP-Serverinfo (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/) and check your server info by head over to Dashboard -> WP Serverinfo area.
• Check your PHP Max Execution Time and set it for 120 for optimal usage (https://thimpress.com/knowledge-base/how-to-increase-maximum-execution-time-for-wordpress-site/).
• Try increasing your PHP Memory limit by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).
