Preview not loading due to iframe response

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for writing in, that seems to be a plugin conflict, please do a Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Ok, so I’ve done what you have suggested. Now, I’m not seeing the preview or layout archive at all. I didn’t do a thing to kick all this off it just happened randomly… I was coming to the end of development too so this is very frustrating.

it seems like when I set the /blog permalink to /blog/%postname%/ and then also have a post type called advisory I needed to set this setting to false. Does that sound right? Advisory templates are designed in Layout

You need to set the preview to your Advisory post type to see the layout. I went ahead and set it for you.

I’ve never had to set that before when going into that layout, plus I was getting 2 or 3 different errors but it came and quickly as it went. Random. Ah well, at least it’s working now.

Hello again, still getting the iframe message but this time on /status

Regarding that status page, it seems the issue is coming from your Global Block (Latest News).

Regarding the PHP Notice:, try to deactivate and reactivate the PRO theme. If that does not work, try to reinstall it.

Ok, I have the Global Block Latest News embedded in the status page. This is because I need to be able to update the Global Block and have it timestamped independently from the status page. I’m using the plugin Last Updated which might be causing it? Although when I disabled it yesterday I didn’t notice any improvement. Perhaps I could ditch the plugin and use your modified date and time? I’d only be able to do that if it updates ONLY for the global block and not the status page. Notice the ID in the shortcode:

I’m not able to see the problem with Latest News myself… could you take a look?

UPDATE: I have disabled Last Updated Shortcode and used {{dc:post:modified_date post="1802" format="D jS M Y"}} at {{dc:post:modified_time post="1802" format="H:i"}} which has worked perfectly. No errors on backend of Status page now. I guess it was the plugin after all.

Unfortunately, I have to report that restalling the theme did not get rid of the PHP Notice.

Also, I’m still getting the ifrane response error on the status page. I have looked at global blocks and the status page in detail and cannot find anything wrong…

I’ve just check your status page, and I cant replicate that issue anymore. Can you try it in incognito/private mode of your browser where no caching and browser extension involve.

Hey Daniel,

The issue happens because of the Global Blocks element. The setup that will work for your site is the Global Blocks shortcode inserted into a Text element.
