Preview header/footer on pages other than the home page?

Even though I have assigned a separate header template to my homepage, when I am building my default/global header, the home page is still loaded in the live preview, which makes it impossible to see the header links due to color conflicts.

Is there a way to load a different page in the header builder preview pane?

Thanks for writing in.

Assign the header to a page if you want to load the header on a different page.

Do not assign the homepage so that you could use other pages.

Ok, so I would temporarily assign it to a specific page so that the preview will show that page, and then when I’ve finalized the header design, I would change it back to the Global header, correct?

Hi There,

You can create number of headers and you can assign specific pages to those headers. You can always change those assigned headers as well, when required.
