Preview could not load - Need plugins active

The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete. This is most often related to a plugin conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error.

I’ve ran through the recommended troubleshooting and disabled plugins.

It’s only when I disable CPT UI it starts working again, however I need that plugin to be active on the site.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue **if you have activated it.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

Thanks

I’ve added access through a secure note. It’s also not letting me validate my license, just stuck in an endless loop.

Hi,

I’ve tried the above fixes, it only seems to work when I’m not trying to use a looper provider of my custom post type, can you please advise one where to go from here as I need my custom post type in place for products I will be adding to the site.

Thanks,
Luke

Hello Luke,

Before we continue, please go to Tools > Site Health > Info > Server. You may need to increase the PHP Time Limit and the PHP Input Time to at least 300. By the way, I have edited the homepage and I was not able to replicate the issue. Can you please share with us which page you have encountered the issue?

Best Regards.

Hello,

It’s on the Metro city page, I was trying to pull in my custom post type into a looper setup but when I add the options Products & Metro City + Featured it stops working and will only load on the page, not in the preview.

My server provider won’t allow me to increase the max_input_time.

It’s on the Metro City page currently but I’ve replicated the same issue in a test page too.

@tristup can you please take another look at this please.

Hi Luke,

I have checked the test page with a similar setup and found that the problem is with the Looper Provider which is set to Product post type that is created through the CPT UI plugin. While changing the post type, it start working fine, I would suggest you create a different post type instead of Product as it might be reserved for WooCommerce.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Lifesaver, I’ve migrated the products over to a new post type and it’s working as normal, at leasts I know for future reference now.

Thank you for your help!

You are most welcome, Luke.
