Hey,
To assist you with this issue, we’ll first need you to provide us with your URL. This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your URL, we will be happy to assist you with everything.
see below
can you also advise how to reduce the width of the sidebar too ? id like that reduced and the post body wider. thanks!
Hi there,
You mean sticky sidebar? It’s not currently possible due to the nature of the layout. But you may try this instead https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/how-do-i-make-my-sidebar-sticky/. I can’t guarantee if it’s going to work, but you may try enhancing the code. It may fail in the future as there is no way to predict future conflicts so we can’t provide further support and enhancement for that kind of custom code.
As for changing the sidebar width, you may try adding this CSS to your global custom CSS.
@media ( min-width: 980px ) {
.x-content-sidebar-active .x-main {
width: 77%;
}
.x-content-sidebar-active .x-sidebar {
width: 23%;
}
.x-content-sidebar-active .x-container.main:before {
right: 23%;
}
}
You’ll notice that the total width of both main and sidebar element is 100%, that means to have to increase or decrease each other if you wish to change the width of any one of them, just as long as the total is 100%.
While this one .x-content-sidebar-active .x-container.main:before should be always equal to sidebar width to make sure that the white background is aligned with the content.
Thanks.
