In an effort to speed up my site to rank higher on mobile, I’m looking to improve load times. One of Google’s recommendations is to avoid loading unused images. When a user visits my site on mobile, they do not need to have the main header images used on the fullscreen site load in the background, slowing down their experience and ranking worst for Google Ads and organic searches.
