Pretty Links Loading Blank Page

We are having an issue with pretty links that we have set up that they just load a blank page. The target URL still works just fine, but the pretty link doesn’t go anywhere. There’s hardly any code on the page either, so we aren’t sure what to do with it. Any thoughts on what might be causing that? Thanks!

Hello @bendhall,

Thanks for writing in!

Please go to Settings > Permalinks and update your permalink setting by just clicking the Save changes button. It will prompt you if your server allows custom permalinks. If the issue persists, we would love to check your permalink or settings of your site. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
- Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: How The Forum Works

Best Regards.

Thank you for the response, the issue is still persisting - I will send the login in a secure note. Thank you!

Hi @bendhall,

Can you please share the Site URL & Login URL too?

Thanks

That would be helpful - sorry about that:

Hi @bendhall,

I have checked your website and found the issue in the Pretty Links as you described. We are not aware of this plugin and never tested this before without a theme, so it will very difficult to recognize the reason behind your problem.
Although it is a 3rd party plugin issue, we are still curious to know the reason behind that. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
I would also suggest you check by activating any of the default themes like *TwentyTwenty, and let us know if the issue does not exist with it.
If none of the above help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: Please note that we do not guarantee a fix or compatibility for the 3rd Party plugins.

Thanks
