There seems to be a potential bug with Pro. Navigation Inline - Disabling “Active Links: Current” does not work. The active link is always in the “on” state. I’ve cleared theme cache, etc.

Thanks for writing in! I have investigated the issue and I cannot replicate the issue. The Active link settings is working perfectly in our testing servers. You may need to clear your plugin caches or site caches if you are using Cloudflare or CDN. Please test your site using private browsing mode as well.

I’ll give you login credentials so that you can see that it’s not working in the footer builder. I’m not using Cloudflare or CDN, and have cleared PRO cache and server cache.

I have checked the Navigation Inline element in the Footer and found that currently the Active Links > Current is set to Off, and it is working perfectly fine. Please remember that while you are adding the element first time the attribute is set to On by default, you need to set it to Off if required.

Thanks for explaining it. I have checked it again and found that the same thing is happening for the Header and Footer and the default settings have been overridden immediately after the loading of the page. And then I found the custom JavaScript added to the Header JS. You need to remove that to get rid of this issue.

Thank you for identifying the root of the issue. I do not recall adding that custom javascript, but perhaps it was added many years ago before i upgraded from X to PRO so that I could achieve the “always on” state for the header using X theme. With PRO there is no need for additional code because the customization settings are available in the builder. I appreciate your help.
