Posts are showing as code

My posts were made in Pro and with a recent update, all my posts are now out of the Pro setting and seem to be reverted to the original Wordpress Post format. In the Post’s page it has the code in it for example:

[cs_content][cs_element_section _id=“1” ][cs_element_row _id=“2” ][cs_element_column _id=“3” ][cs_element_headline _id=“4” ][cs_text style=“font-size: 113%;”]

When I click to edit it in Pro it launches Pro and the page is blank. How do I fix this and have my pages turn back into Pro pages instead of default Wordpress pages?

Hi @miggroup,

Thank you for writing in, please clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If that did not work, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

I cleared the cache, went straight to Pro to bypass my child theme, deactivated all plugins and still am having the same problem.

Hi @miggroup,

Can you recall what you did before this issue happens? It’s weird that its only the posts are affected and not the pages, did you do some kind of a mass changes on your posts recently with the help of a plugin? That might change/update something on the database and lose the serialize Cornerstone data.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this but you need to restore the site before the issue happens.

Thanks,

I transferred the posts from another site to get them back. I have the same version of Wordpress and the same version of Pro on the other site as well.

Hi @miggroup,

You mean those posts are from another site? Unfortunately, there is no other way around that but you need to go back to the originating site and save all your posts as a cornerstone template (.csl) and upload it to your new site.

Thanks,

Hey, I have over 150 posts. There is no way to migrate posts to a new site? I think that would take way too long to do.

We understand, we’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.

Thanks,
