Post Type Selection not switching the setings panel

When using WP 5.0.2 and the new editor with PRO 2.4.4 a post that has been switched to lets say a Video post type is failing to display the correct settings panel for the post type when the new gutenburg editor is in place. Simply using the official ‘Classic Editor’ Plugin solves the problem.

I saw this on a Client site and then have tested this workaround on a clean wp install and the problem is resolved so it appears to me to be a PRO issue that needs resolution.

Thanks for reporting it. Upon testing, I was able to experience the same issue and then I have submitted it to our issue tracker, so that our developers can review it further.

For now, please use classic editor as a workaround.

Hi @ashley,

Thanks for brining this to our attention. It was working in WordPress 5.0.1 but looks like it’s broken in 5.0.2 somehow. We’ll look into getting this fixed in the next release.
