Post title to appear above the featured image on just post pages

Hi there,

I’m trying to edit my site so that after clicking on a post the title appears first along with the date and other information, followed by the featured image for the post. At the moment the default is to have the featured image appear first.

Also do you know how I ensure that all featured images for all posts appear the same size across the whole site?

Hey @VapingHardware,

Maybe we can help you with a little customization if we see your current setup. Please give us the URL of a post.

Regarding your featured images question, it would be best that you upload images with the same dimensions already so your server won’t have to process resizing and you won’t need any customization. If you wish to continue, we would also need the URL of your blog page.

Ideally I’d like the post title, date, author, tag and leave a comment button to appear above the featured image and for the sharing button to remain below the featured image.

With regards to the size of all featured images we’ll make sure to only upload a universal size.

Please add this code to Appearance > Theme Options > JS.

jQuery('.single .p-meta').prependTo('.single .entry-featured');

Hi there,

Thanks for the help. However that appears to only move the Author, date and comment option above the featured image and not the post title. Do you know how we can also move the post title above the featured image?

Sorry about that. To move the meta above the title, please use this code.

jQuery('.single .p-meta').prependTo('.single .entry-header');

To move the entry header above the featured image, please add this code.

jQuery('.single .entry-header').prependTo('.single .entry-featured');
