Post Navigation limit to certain category(ies)

Hi there – I see other people in the past have asked for the Post Navigation element to have the capability to specify/exclude certain categories. This seems like an obvious feature to have. A site can use posts for all kinds of different uses. For example, on the site I’m working on, I’m using posts for both a blog and for a list of job opportunities. I don’t want someone looking at blog posts to scroll to a job opportunity using the nav, but with the element as it is now, I can’t prevent that, as far as I can tell.

People have been asking for this for years, based on forum post searches, and it seems like a pretty basic one. Hope this makes it into a future release sooner than later.

Thanks for reaching out.
The Post Navigation is made to navigate the posts irrespective of categories and that is why it does not have an option to exclude Categories. I will check and if there is any possibility I will add this as a feature request so it might be taken into account in the future.
