Post element set-up

Hello,
we are using Posts element on our website (before we used recent posts). Can you please give me some advice how could I:

1. filter only some category of posts (I want to display on certain page only posts from one category)
2. how could I manage to display on page only some number of posts (not all of this category, but only for example 4)

Thanks for writing in!

1.) Instead of using Recent Posts as your Looper Provider, use the Query Builder instead.
