Post Attributes tab is missing

Hi,

I am working with wordpress 5.2.3 running x-child theme. for my website, but it appears there is no Post Attributes widget when I am editing Posts. It is shown for Pages, however.

I have checked every checkbox available, in order to display every widget available but Page Attributes is not one of them.

I have seen the tab when edeting posts before, but now i cant see them anymore.

Hello Niklas,

Thanks for writing in!

Post Attributes will only appear if you have created a custom templates for your Posts. Even if you switch to Twenty Nineteen theme, there isn’t a Post Attributes in it. With posts, there is no order nor parent posts assignments. It is only present in Pages.

Hope this explains it briefly.

But its a bit strange, as before i had it.

would you guys be able to show me any settings within x-theme so that i can get the same layout as on pages?

“blank - no container - header, fotter”

As i find the full width layout nicer, as i could not see any option to have full witdh header in posts.

Here is actually an example on how it was before - on posts.

This is a “blogpost” and here i had the option to use - blank - no container - header, footer.

I have not edited the blogpost, because if i do, it will remove the page attribute.

check the URL if the firs image.

then see the URL for this image - both are blogposts. but one “no account casino” still have the “page attribute.” setting valid.

this one i have clicked on “edit casino” and then the page attribute has vanished.

solved, we can close this one

Glad to hear that.
