Possible PRO Bug - Font Management After Upgrade from X

I was running X and upgraded to PRO.

Everything seemed to be transferred over smoothly (although I am still going through updating and tweaking) … Except:

I can set Body Copy and Heading fonts through the Font Manager, but when I go to theme options > typography, I don’t have the selected fonts in the fonts option select dropdown.

I DO have a complete list of system and Google fonts, and can select from that list without any problem. But the selected fonts from the Font Manager do no carry over.

I just (yesterday) created a new blog and used PRO, and didn’t have any issue with the fonts manager - it worked perfectly (well almost, but that’s the topic of a different support post). So this issue probably has something to do with upgrading from an X theme (that has a lot of custom CSS in it).

Note that this is not really a problem for me - I have a workaround. I am reporting it as a possible bug that you might want to investigate and fix in a future release.

Thank you for writing in and sorry you’re having that issue,

That means you have the Enable Font Manager option on the Theme Options > Typography turn off. Please turn that on.


Remember to clear all caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Quick note: The Color and Font Manager is now accessible from the Global Settings Modal.
