Hi guys,
My host is saying this is a theme or plugins problem and I am saying it is the host.
Could you look at the error on the website and see if it is a Theme X problem?
Many thanks

Hi Chris,
Based on the error message, this is caused by the database setup or the PHP version of your site.
Try logging in through FTP and edit the wp-config.php file then add this to the bottom of the file:
define('WP_USE_EXT_MYSQL', true);
In case the issue persists, please get in touch with your hosting provider.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, I did, but no luck.
I have been in contact with my host
Hello @chris_smith1,
Thanks for updating the thread.
Another support staff here. It’s not a Theme related issue. If you have upgraded the PHP version, please make sure that mysqli is installed and/or enabled on your server. Please get in touch with the hosting provider and make sure mysqli is installed and activated.
Thanks.
