And ran into the trouble that it isn’t all that well positioned on mobile:
What is the best way to overwrite center center on mobile? I think it’s positioned this way through inline styling so !important and the sort won’t work right?

There is a feature in revslider to make style and content responsive. Please use the following settings.
Instead of center center value, try x%,y% . Then adjust the value of X and Y position per screen size. No need to add inline styling.
