Portfolio single item - make white background transparent

Hello,

I am unable to make the white background of my portfolio items transparent, tried several things, also used several pieces of code I found on the form, but I find myself unable to get rid of this background. I was able to change the background with one piece of code, but this also affected the background of the portfolio index page, which I just got right. Could you please help me out?

Hi @Tierramitica,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is not clear which background you are trying to point to. Are you pointing to the Portfolio list page where the Portfolio Item title is shown on the white background? If that is what you are trying to make transparent, you can add the following custom CSS code into the Theme Options > CSS to get rid of it.

.page-template-template-layout-portfolio .entry-wrap
{
    background:transparent !important;
}

Please remember that the above code will work if copied as it is and doesn’t conflict with any existing style.
Please note that the code provided serves only as a guide to help you get started custom coding on your own if there’s no option offered in our theme or the products we bundle.
We really do not provide support for custom codes which means we can’t fix it in case it conflicts with something on your site nor will we enhance it. Further customization should be directed to a third-party developer or you can avail of One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Hello Tristup

Thank you, but no I am referring to the single portfolio item pages. All of my single portfolio item pages have a white background that I want to delete. I am adding a picture. I already fixed my main portfolio index page and that looks great now.
Thank you for helping me out.

Hi @Tierramitica,

In that case, you need to add the following custom CSS code into the Theme Options > CSS.

.single-x-portfolio .entry-wrap.cf
{
    background: transparent !important;
}

Thank you so much, that solved my issue!
