Portfolio problems with view in Cornerstone

Hi,
I have built my site with the Renew stack of the X-theme.

In Cornerstone, the view of the Portfolio pages has no margin and there is something wrong with the size. This is only in the editor, the Page view is ok. And it is only with Portfolio-items, not with Pages or Blogposts.
It makes it difficult to edit a Portfolio-page, because it is no longer WYSIWYG.

What I tried:

  • deactivate all plugins one by one. No difference
  • select the X-theme instead of the Child theme from X. (I thought maybe it was some forgotten code) No difference
  • select ‘global container’ in a portfolio-item. This makes it better in the editor, but gives the wrong view in the page view.
  • try to compare the page-width of the portfolio with the pages. Can’t find the difference.

Please advice.

Hello @amarseille,

Thanks for posting in! I believe that this is a bug in the latest release of the Cornerstone plugin. I will be reporting this to our developers to make them aware of this issue.

Please bear with us.

Thanks for your answer!

Is there an easy way to work around this problem? Is it possible for example to build a page and copy the code to a portfolio-item? Or to save page-sections in a blog and load them in a portfolio-item?
(I tried, but I didn’t succeed…)

We chose Cornerstone because it is easy to work with for everyone. But with this bug, I can’t ask the intern to make new portfolio-items…

Can you give me an indication how soon this will be fixed? Do I need to think in days, weeks or months?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hey @amarseille,

Our developers have been informed about the issue. We just do not have an ETA when the patch release will be released.

Please bear with us. Thanks.
