I have a client who uses the portfolio option to display their projects. They recently started adding a paragraph of text to the project profile. The text all runs together. How can we make sure the excerpt text is formatted as it is when you look at the complete profile?

Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that the excerpts is generated dynamically from the very first 55 words of the contents. Any html codes or shortcodes will be strip off and only a plain text will be used in the excerpts. If you want to have a custom excerpt, you can make use of the manual excerpts instead. Manual Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content that can be used in your theme. Learn more about manual excerpts.
