What is the best workflow in Pro for setting up a unique page template that functions like a portfolio item or post?
I am comfortable building out advanced pages in Pro but have a new client with a portfolio of projects. There are many of them that all need to look the same but also have the latest projects feed at the bottom of the page. See attached. It’s a pretty straightforward layout but I want to be sure I get the engineering of the projects set up correctly in Pro.

I suggest that you will use a layout builder in building your custom portfolio template. I also want you to check the videos below, to know how the loopers work.

One thing is puzzling me… how do I work The Grid plugin into a layout so that each portfolio page pulls from a unique grid?

Assuming that in each portfolio item you have added The Grid shortcode. When you create a custom layout, the grid which is part of the portfolio item can be displayed using the Loopers.
