Portfolio Page not showing portfolio Items

Dear Support Team,
I am trying to build a press photos page using the custom post type portfolio. Unfortunately the portfolio Items are not showing on the page with the template: “Layout - Portfolio”. I get the info message: " Hey! No suitable preview area found. this could happen when a third party plugin is overriding the content area or “The content” is not being output by the current layout"
The title and the tag filters are there but the two test portfolio items are not showing. Could you please help me get it up and running? I am using the X Theme. I disabled the plugins one by one but it didn’t change anything.

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for reaching out.
I was not able to locate the Portfolio page in the Page List, so I created a Test page and assigned the Portfolio template and it worked after resetting the permalink to the %postname% again.
I would suggest you check the portfolio page once and let us know if you are getting the same issue.
