Portfolio not working - pages show as page not found

My portfolio pages were working last night, and now are not. The URL’s show properly, ie: https://tomrogerswebdesign.com/portfolio-item/marie-buckleys-blog/ but it comes up as a page not found.
Fixes offered in other posts don’t seem to be working. I tried turning off the portfolio, and on again. Also tried a different browser.

Thanks for reaching out.
The permalink settings were the cause behind your issue, I went ahead and reset the permalink once and now the portfolio items are starting working.

Thanks! But why would the permalink settings change, I never touched anything?

You’re welcome! I suspect that it was a cache and we need to reset the permalinks in order for them to work properly. The bottom line is, your website is now working as it should be.
