Portfolio not editable -> "No suitable preview area found."

Hi there,

I can’t create a portfolio page with x theme. I get this error message:

Uh oh! No suitable preview area found. This could happen when a third party plugin is overrinding the content area.

I changed the setting as described in this post.

I use Ethos.

Hi Iven,

Thanks for reaching out.

Any index pages that generates a listing of posts aren’t editable in the builder. It’s similar to blog pages, archive pages, search pages, and more. And that page template is limited to the stack you’re using, editing them requires editing the actual templates.

Hello Iven,

You can create a page for your portfolio. You just cannot use the Layout - Portfolio page template because it will make the page not editable in Pro Editor or Cornerstone. You can make use of the Essential Grid or The Grid plugins and insert it to a page that might serve as your portfolio page.

Navigate to X > Settings under the General tab enable the Portfolio and save.
