Portfolio Main Permalink Slug (not item)

Good Day,

I would like to change the portfolio page permalink to ‘projects’ rather than ‘portfolio’. I have already changed the page name as well as the portfolio item slug in theme settings. When I click on an item, the permalink works with the new slug set in theme settings.

Right now the permalink for the portfolio page is ‘portfolio-4’, likely due to me testing out various theme templates before settling on Renew. I checked the WP admin settings > permalinks, but can’t seem to find where this permalink is set. I have noticed in various searches that other themes provide a setting for the main portfolio permalink, but it appears that the Pro theme does not.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for writing in!

Please go to Pages and find the “Projects” page. Hover over the page and click “Quick Edit” where you can change the page slug to projects.

And lastly, go to Cornerstone > Theme Options > Portfolio and MUST set the Custom URL Slug to “project”.

Warning: If you do not change the custom URL slug, there will be a slug conflict.
