Portfolio Items not loading

Hi there,

I just updated to the latest version of X. Now I have problems with the potfolio page, thumbnails are not loading. If I reload the page they appear. Same thing if I go back from a single item to the portfolio page, thumbnails are not loading, only after another reload.

I just check the URL of your website and I don’t see any problem n with the thumbnails not loading. I guess it has something to do with the cache. I suggest that you clear your browser cache and any 3rf party website.

Hi + thanks for the fast reply,

the issue is still there and reproducible with Firefox, with Chrome – which I just installed and opened the page with for the very first time – it’s the same. With Safari it’s working fine. (All Browsers latest versions on Mac). When I come to the “Projekte”-page from e.g. the homepage the thumbnails fail to load until I do a refresh (I always have to refresh when I enter the page, otherwise see screenshot below). Cleaning the cache doesn’t make any difference. New Chrome is still trying to load the thumbnails while I’m writing these lines …

It seems that you are using the X theme version 8.0.1 and Cornerstone version 5.0.4, I would suggest you update the X theme to the latest point version that is 8.0.4 and check if that issue still exists or not.
I would suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the theme.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

I would also suggest you troubleshot a few common issues on this.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization

It seems with updating everything (X version 8.0.6 out today + new version of Cornerstone also today) everything is working fine.
