Portfolio Item - Media Gallery Slider Help

Hello,

Been using X for a client and their ‘Guides’ use portfolio pages for each guide with a slider on each individual page/portfolio item. This gallery is automatically generated from the Add Media feature on the post. Several of the previous portfolio/guide pages have done this with success: http://www.sierramtnguides.com/detail/michael-oconnor/

But when adding new portfolio/guide pages, the gallery doesn’t seem to work. Can someone walk me through getting multiple images in the gallery but not having them in the description area as we need to add text and other information: http://www.sierramtnguides.com/?post_type=x-portfolio&p=10336&preview=true

I’ve read other posts and it seemed straightforward but I think somethings either not working properly or missing. Please advise.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! In order for the portfolio gallery to work, you must upload and attached the gallery images when you have created the post. As long as you have uploaded and attached the image in the post that you are creating, you do not need to insert the images in the portfolio description area.
