I have updated 2 website - one to X 8.1.1 and the other to Pro 4.1.1 and the portfolio is no longer in the WordPress menu (black sidebar when logged in) and the individual portfolio pages are getting 404 not found.
This upgrade is a nightmare!

I had the same issue. To resolve open the theme options and toggle the portfolio off and then on again and save.

Glad to hear you got this working. After the second point release goes out this shouldn’t happen if you’re updating other sites.
I also had to re-save the permalinks to get the individual portfolio pages to stop showing as 404 not found.
Hello. This has happened on several of my websites causing a lot of problems. I’m using X and Cornerstone and cannot see a “toggle portfolio” option in the Theme Settings. Can anyone help?

This issue has been already fixed in the last point release, can you please check once after updating the X theme and Cornerstone.
