I can only recreate the issue on firefox, the portfolio items are not loading anymore once I navigate back and forth a couple of times between the two pages. Sometimes it loads again when I go back to the portfolio page using the menu. clearing the browser’s cache seems to resolve the issue until I navigate again a couple of times between the two pages of portfolio.

Thanks in advance for your help

I am experiencing the same issue, it seems to have happened after updating the theme and cornerstone. The error I am receiving in the console is related to “jQuery is not defined”.

To add: When I login, the pages load as intended.

@michigancreative on my side I’m still having the issue when logged in.

I have the following errors:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for https://emtex-studio.com/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/dist/js/site/x.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE
DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for https://emtex-studio.com/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/assets/dist/js/site/cs.0ce70e6.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

Hi @EMTEX,

Thanks for reaching out.

I check your page https://emtex-studio.com/our-productions/ and this loads perfectly on my end. I suggest that you clear your browser cache.

On the other hand, you can ignore this source error as this does not have any impact on your site. Those missing files were just sourced map files.

A source map provides a way of mapping code within a compressed file back to its original position in a source file. This means that – with the help of a bit of software – you can easily debug your applications even after your assets have been optimized. The Chrome and Firefox developer tools both ship with built-in support for source maps.

Note: Support for source maps is enabled by default in Firefox’s developer tools. You may need to enable support manually in Chrome. To do this, launch the Chrome dev tools and open the Settings pane (cog in the bottom right corner). In the General tab make sure that Enable JS source maps and Enable CSS source maps are both ticked.

To know more about Source maps and how does it works, please check this out: http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/introduction-source-maps

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hi @michigancreative,

Thanks for reaching out.

I suggest that you will create a new thread so that we can help you further with your issues.

Thank you.

Dear @marc_a ,
Yes the page loads but once you you click on page 2 then back to page 1 then 2 at some point the portfolio won’t load. Clearing the cache does solve the issue but it comes back when going back and forth in pages. I can only recreate this issue in firefox. But it happens on 2 different PC’s

Hi @EMTEX,

I have also tried to replicate the issue by back and forth the pagination, but unfortunately, the issue does not come up. Can you please create a video on how we can replicate it, that helps us to recognize the problem?

Thanks

Dear @tristup please find below a video, showing the issue:

This time it happened right away

Clearing the cache only delays the issue from happening.

Again, please note that the issue only occurs on firefox and never on chrome.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @EMTEX,

Unfortunately, the issue is can’t be reproduced in the Firefox browser, can you please let us know the browser version that you are using. If that is not up to date, I would suggest you update it and recheck once if that issue still persists.

Thanks

Dear @tristup I tried on a couple of computers and after a while on firefox it allways starts to behave the way described above. Even on mobile using firefox the issue occurs.

My firefox browsers are all up to date on the latest version. Version 84.0.1

Hey @EMTEX,

I also could not replicate the issue using Firefox 84.0.1 on Windows.

This is a known issue in OSX though and this has been fixed in Pro 4.0.5. Please update Pro to the latest version.

Before reporting an issue, please first perform the common solutions listed here https://theme.co/docs/common-issues. Updating the theme is one of those.

Hope that helps.

I have teh exact same issue and it is still not resolved. My portfolo page will not load consistantly but instead I get this

Is there a solution for this?

Hello Gareth,

At this time we kindly ask that you open up your issue in a separate thread along with your WP access so we can investigate your site. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off-topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.

Thank you.
