Hi, I’ve created a portfolio page called illustrations. Two issues.
One is various portfolio items, despite only being attached to ‘illustrations’ category, show the wrong category. They show up as be`ing on the ‘website’ category. Doesn’t make sense as they are clearly attached to the correct catagory by virtue of only showing on the correct portfolio page.
The second problem is within one of the portfolio items, ‘Fish can’t climb trees’. Here, despite all the images in the gallery for the item being exactly the same size (700 x 500 px) One of them shows up as being about 700 x 1200 which makes the gallery a mess. Once again it makes no sense as all images are identical sizes.
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
What items shouldn’t be there? I checked and there are 13 items in Illustration category, and 13 displayed on the portfolio page. Plus, I compared the items and they are correct.
Please clear your browser cache too, maybe you’re seeing the cache version of that page.
Thanks!
HI,
If you click on the illustrations link it takes you to the illustrations page.
However, if you click on some of the illustrations, for example the top three on the portfolio page, the page it takes you to is headed as ‘websites’. Which it shouldn’t.
My question was, how can I get the page to show the correct heading
You didn’t address my second query. Be great if you could. Thanks
Hi,
- The title shown on top is the portfolio parent.
Please select Illustration as Portfolio Parent of your portfolio items

- To fix your slider, you can add the code below in
Appearance > Customize> Custom > Edit Global CSS
.x-flexslider.x-flexslider-featured-gallery {
overflow:hidden;
}
Hope that helps
