Portfolio gallery images order

Hi,

1. After sorting images into a portfolio gallery they are shown in another order within the portfolio item.

2. The selected as “Featured image” is not shown into the gallery, despite it’s within the added images.

3. How to hide the thumbnails within the portfolio item, as they don’t work as links to go to the selected image into the gallery?

Could you please help me out?

I have checked one of the Portfolio item details page and found that the Images are shown in correct order, that added in the order in the default editor. I have checked the gallery too and found the images in the same order it is showing in default editor and frontend

Hi @pibo5,

I check your portfolio page, there’s no option to re-arrange the gallery image. The only way to arrange it which might be tricky, you should upload first the first image you want to display. Let say for an example on your Conservas Cerqueira Portfolio page, you should upload the images on these sequences cerqueira2, cerqueira1, cerqueira5, cerqueira3, cerqueira4,

On the other hand, the gallery you added in your content is not connected to the gallery slider, so advise that you delete the gallery’s shortcode [gallery ids=“291,290,294,292,293”].

I have understood the way the images to the slider work now.

It’s one question left: why the featured image is not shown within the slider? How can it be solved?

Hi @pibo5,

I suspect that if your featured image is the same image name you added in your Gallery, the image will not be shown on the Gallery. I tried to upload your featured image in your Conservas Cerqueira with another name and added it to your gallery, the image is now showing properly. You can check your Conservas Cerqueira page.
