Portfolio featured image slider integrity

Hi There,

I’m having several issues with the portfolio featured image slider. On several of my portfolio items there isn’t a slider at all. On other items, there is a slider but it is very unclear how the featured images in the slider were selected and are displayed. How can we select these images? And how do we insert the slider on those places it hasn’t appeared at all?

Hi Vink,

You can attach and detach the images to the portfolio item through the Media Library.
The steps are described in the video :

Thanks, this helps in part.

Now how does it work if an image has already been used in a post, or elsewhere on the site? It only shows to detach an image from other posts which I do not want.

And a different question, how would I go about moving the arrow keys in the slider? I would like one on each side of the slide instead of them together. If they have to stay together then I want to atleast place them at the bottom of the slide.

Hi Karianne,

Any unattached image(s) can be used for the Portfolio items. Regarding the Arrow is postioned in default that our theme.
If you still want to put in your specifc postion, you need to write the custom CSS code and add into Theme Option > CSS

Hi,

Are you saying that there is no way to use an image that has been used elsewhere in the slider? Because that seems quite odd…

From your anwser I understand that moving the arrows isn’t a standard option in the theme. I wanted to know this before adding CSS because it would save time in the future. Thanks for clarifying. I will move the arrows with CSS instead.

Hi Karianne,

In Portfolio item or Post Types, allowed to attached those images which are not already attached to any other posts.
