Portfolio click trough ends in Oops! The page you are looking for is no longer here, or never existed in the first place (bummer)

I just found out that the portfolio doesn’t work the way it should anymore. Portfolio items are shown at the homepage and at the projecten page, however, after clicking on a project it doesn’t open a page with the bigger photo as it used to. Now it displays an error message: Oops! The page you are looking for is no longer here, or never existed in the first place (bummer). You can try searching for what you are looking for using the form below. If that still doesn’t provide the results you are looking for, you can always start over from the home page.
homepage: https://www.metzenergy.nl/
portfoliopage: https://metzenergy.nl/projecten/

Added a new portfolio item to check if new items work the way they should, but they also give the error.

Hi Niek,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems to be a problem with the permalink settings. I would suggest you set it to Plain and reset it to the %postname% and check if that resolves your issue.

If that does not resolves, there might be some different reasons behind your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.CSS/JS Customization
4.Disabling Cache
5.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi Tristup.
It set it to Plain and it worked!
Do I need to reset it to Post name of kan I stay with Plain? Don’t know what is better.

Hello Niek,

Glad that it works for you. You can set the permalink as Post name, it is good for SEO purpose.

Thanks
