Point video bg image to a external URL

Hi all,

I’m using a CDN to host my images and videos. When I create a section with a video background the link to the ‘poster image’ references the image URL from my server, rather than the one on the CDN.

Is it possible to point that URL to the CDN image URL instead?

Hello Gee,

Thanks for writing in! Do you have a direct CDN image URL of the image? You can edit the page and simply replace the poster image. If you are using a CDN plugin, it might not be possible or the plugin should be in charge in changing all of this image urls.

Sorry guys - user error.

For some reason WordPress didn’t update the new URL link when I had pointed the poster image URL to the CDN path. I’ve tried it again just now and it’s working.
