Pods Plugin shortcodes will not display

After having a frustrating experience with ACF I switched to the Pods plugin to handle all my custom fields.

But I can’t get them to display inside your page builder.

When I am inside the page builder and I try to display one of it’s custom fields using their shortcode [pods pod=“vpn” field=“intro_summary”] it says “Please provide a Pod name”.

If I save the page and view it on the front end that shortcodes displays fine, I just can’t get them working inside the page builder editor.

Any ideas whats going on here?

Thanks for writing in! We don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins as it would be outside the scope of the support. However, can you try testing it on a Raw Content element and see if that renders.

Can I please suggest you start supporting the Pods integration?

It’s miles ahead of ACF which you already support.

I also don’t think it would take very much to make it work. Just need to get the shortcodes displaying and the integration is basically done.
