So im new to this but im thinking of for my website

  • home page about myself
  • page about podcast ( that I am starting )
  • then when I drop a podcast - have a “post” for each podcast so can pull thru - from the podcast host - the podcast and audiogram
    then below have links - related info links from web
  • summary page of podcast ( which you can access with pop up email - ( generate email list )

Then, on home podcast page ( which could be the landing page) - have a loopers featuring current posts - that link to the post page

  • so im asking podcast page should be a post so I can looper it - and feature it

Also
is it better to set up product pages thru strip and just link to my website - or would you set up the shop from the website and then link the stripe cart? ( Jumping ahead)

would love and example of a podcast page and then a group page -that has list view of them ??

We don’t have a podcast specific demo or example but you can look online for designs and we can guide you how to build it.

The feature that you’ll mostly use is the Looper coupled with the ACF Pro plugin. I say ACF because you can add data to a post like your podcast link or media, related info and more. For the popup email, I’d recommend you use the ConvertPlus bundled plugin. You can learn about that here: https://theme.co/docs/convertplus. It has the option to display a popup upon a button or link click. You can connect ConvertPlus to Mailchimp or with other email providers listed here: https://www.convertplug.com/plus/integrations/

People usually use WooCommerce. In WooCommerce, you connect the payment gateway like Stripe instead of creating products in the payment gateway itself which you don’t have much control of.
